Good news for all those who ride north of town…

Local Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI) Area Manager, Clint Monson, has announced that pedestrian and cycling improvements on Wildwood Hill have been funded and scheduled for this summer! This funding comes in the wake of the ministry’s 10 year transportation plan, which dedicates a more effort towards cycling improvements for transportation and tourism.

While the grade of Wildwood Hill still makes it a challenge, hopefully the new configuration will put your mind at ease even while your legs are not.

Thanks to Clint for his continued advocacy for cyclists in the city and region.

Such good news! Right ow, you take your life in your hands going up or down that hill on a bike. Crazy cars and drivers, and crazy blind corners if you take the pavement. Bears and drunks if you take the trail. Thanks Clint!
